Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School, Puthencruz, established in 1948, has been a cornerstone of academic excellence and holistic development for over seven decades. Celebrating its Platinum Jubilee in 2023, the school stands tall as a beacon of learning, values, and innovation in education.
Nestled in the heart of Puthencruz, the school operates from a sprawling 80,000 sq. ft. campus designed to meet the highest standards of modern education. It is equipped with inclusive classrooms for differently-abled children, a high-tech kitchen, advanced computer and science labs, and a well-stocked library. Under the dedicated leadership of Manager Mr. Saji K Alias and Headmistress Ms. Nishi Paul, our 15-member teaching staff ensures a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for students from Grades 8 to 10.
We provide special coaching for SSLC students, helping them excel in their board exams through focused guidance. Additionally, students can participate in diverse programs such as Scouts and Guides, NCC, Red Cross, Little Kites, and the Student Police Cadet, which foster leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility.
With student welfare as a priority, the school offers convenient school bus services, nutritious breakfast and lunch, and an insurance cover of ₹1,00,000 for every child.
